Axis Aircraft Directory

By Sir Ernie Hamilton Boyette

If you find any grammar errors please tell me and I will change them right away. That goes for technical information of the aircraft on these pages. Please list your reference as well so I will be better learned and can share the new information. Please, I do not want to look stupid. I have done a ton of research however it is impossible to know every little detail of every subject. So let me know if I have written something that I need to change.

Thank you for your time and please tell your friends about my endeavors.

Some of the artwork displayed is by Sir Hamilton. The names of other artist are listed if available. I want to give the other artist credit the best I can. If you have something you have painted or sketched we will post it and give you credit as well.

Japanese Army Fighters

I have not had the time to paint as many Japanese aircraft as I would have enjoyed. As of this date June 25,2011, I have only painted four. That is why in this section of Japanese aircraft, most all the art illustrated is by other artist. If I know the artist I will list his name where everyone can see. However a lot of people send me profiles and I do not know their sources. Please know that I want to put the honor where the correct honor is due. My personal artwork will clearly be labeled as "my art."

I am seeking commissions to paint Japanese aircraft so let me know if you are interested in an original painting by a nationally know artist. I will do you a good job. My prices are reasonable. You can even make payments. I have my own ideas if you are interested. Some of the aircraft I would like to paint would be three-view. The top, side profile and the front. These airplanes would be painted on three-foot by four-foot canvases. The final published print would be 18x24". Help me honor the many Japanese aircraft, fighters or bombers and the squadrons they served with. At your service.
