R.A.F. P-40 Profiles in North Africa painted by Other Artist
The A.V.G. pilots in China saw photos of the P-40 fighters below and decided to paint shark teeth on their fighters.
Below are excellent examples of the R.A.F. that inspired the A.V.G. I think the A.V.G. did a better job of painting the tiger eyes and mouth on their P-40's.

Here is a painting I did of the Flying Tiger logo that I had autographed by 7 of the aviators.

Ken Jernsadt signs my artwork for me.

This is a two foot by four foot painting that I have started but have yet finished. This painting has been autographed by 6 A.V.G. pilots and Aces.

P-40 Profiles painted by Other Artist

Above are profiles that I picked up some where. I did not write down who the artist was but they are a good job and classic A.V.G. model profiles.
One book I highly recommend is the Osprey Series of the A.V.G. units.

Below are photos that I took at the Pensacola Naval Air Museum when they honored the Flying Tigers by adding a beautiful P-40 to their collection at the Museum.
This is the P-40 for the Pensacola Museum.

On the left is one of the Tigers but I am so embarrassed that I did not get his name.
Next to this un-named hero is Peter Wright, Tex Hill, Chuck Older, Dick Rossi, Ken Jernsadt and another Tiger I slipped up in losing some notes and forgetting his name. For there mistakes I am very sorry. Yet the above are all true Heroes.

What a great line up of American Heroes. Peter Wright, Tex Hill, Chuck Older, Dick Rossi, Ken Jernsadt

On the left is my brother Bill, in the center back ground is Tex Hill and I am on the right.

This is Allen Shepard autographing my painting of the Friendship 7 that he rode in and out of space.
I knew he would be at the event so I painted his space capsule for him to sign for me.
